Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest TV Anime Releases Main Trailer!
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will begin airing on July 7.
On June 7, the official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Fairy Tail: 100 Year Quest began streaming the main trailer for the adaptation.
The trailer also features the opening theme song, Story, performed by Japanese dance and vocal unit, Da-iCE and will premiere in Japan on July 7.
Hayate Wada, a member of Da-iCE, said,
”This is the first anime theme song that I was involved in writing and composing!
I am very excited that it is for my favorite anime series, FAIRY TAIL, and that it is for 100 Years Quest! I think I have created a fast-paced, energetic, and hot song while incorporating the colors of both FAIRY TAIL and Da-iCE in my own way.
I hope you enjoy it along with the anime. I can’t wait to see it! I’m too excited!”
Japanese idol group Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora will perform the ending theme, Tomo yo, Koko de Sayonara da.
One of the group members stated, “We were surprised and excited because we did not expect that our song would be the ending theme!
We will do our best to make this song reach the people who listen to it.”
Another member, Suzuki Hayasaki, adds,
“We are very happy that Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora’s song was chosen as the ending theme for an anime series loved by many people!
It is a positive song about trying to be strong for each other, and I hope to deliver this song to many people.”
The cast for the new anime includes:

Fairy Tail: 100 Year Quest is a sequel to Hiro Mashima’s original Fairy Tail manga. The sequel manga is illustrated by Atsu Ueda.
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest has been serialized as a sequel to Fairy Tail o Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga app since July 2018.
A total of 17 tankobon volumes have been released to date.
Kondansha USA publishes the manga in English and describes the series as:
