Eve Showcases A Special Anime Music Video Of His Song Kororon

Popular singer and songwriter Eve (“Fight Song” from Chainsaw Man), uploaded a “Surprise Music Video” on his YouTube channel to celebrate the end of his Eve Arena Tour 2023 Kororon concert tour. It is an anime music video of his song “Kororon“, which was released in March 2023.

The song “Kororon,” is part of a promotional package for the Gatsby’s Meta Rubber hairstyling product line.

Eve first started uploading covers in April 2009 at the age of 13, however his first cover as “Eve”, “TRAGIC BOY”, was uploaded in October 2009. Prior to this, he had gone by two different names, Kurowa and Keitora, before finally settling on his current name. Most of his covers from 2009 have since been either deleted or set to private with few exceptions; somewhat unusually, his mylists divide his uploads by the year they were uploaded.

Though he usually performs VOCALOID songs from many genres, he is also a fan of indie and folk rock, having sung songs by the bands Galileo Galilei and RADWIMPS. Aside from covering songs, he was one of the lead singers for the former Japanese indie band einie, along with Natsushiro Takaaki. He also developed songs and lyrics for the band.

His list of achievements are as follows:

  • After 2 self-produced msuic albums, Eve released the national distribution board album <OFFICIAL NUMBER>.
  • The indie album <Culture> released on December 13, 2017 was his first all-self-composed songs, <Dramaturgy> <As You Like It> which was included in this album, has exceeded 100 million plays.
  • The number of YouTube subscribers exceeds 4.2 million.
  • The one-man live shows in 2018, 2019 including the <winter tour 2019-2020 turbulent dining table> mobilized 12,000 people, The tickets were sold out immediately.
  • On February 6, 2019, the Album <Otogi> was released, <Smile> released on February 12, 2020 won the 2nd place on the Oricon album chart, and <Kaikaikitan / Aono Waltz> released on December 23, 2020 won the 1st place, and the recorded song “Kaikai Kitan” exceeded 300 million the streaming, and YouTube exceeded 270 million playbacks.
