Dorohedoro Season 2 Finally Has a Trailer and Opening

On March 8, 2026, we got our main trailer for Dorohedoro Season 2, which will be focused on the Cross Eyes mystery.

Opening Summary

Later on March 22nd, we got the full second opening for Dorohedoro.

Just like the first one, this is storyboarded by series director Yuichiro Hayashi and has a similar approach but instead of focusing on Nikaido cooking gyoza while splashing references of the cast around (such as Kikurage chasing the giant cockroach guy Jonson), we see the first half being a march of character with a rare sight: their bodies being sliced open and showing internal organs.

Many human versions of Kaimans marching while vertically bisected and with his organs out is similar to another Hayashi opening, My War from Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 1.

This is tied to the next scene showing the detached heads of the Cross Eyes members, a likely hint towards Kaiman’s true origins as he also has Cross Eyes, alongside the man falling down the Hole.

This leads into the Hell rave of the devils led by Chidaruma, with all the sorcerers dancing and moshing bursting into colors to form the title.

Just like Dorohedoro Season 1 and Shota Goshozono for Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuichiro Hayashi is storyboarding the entire thing.

The leakers have noted that:

•Action segments are definitely the biggest glow up, looks night and day with S1

•CGI is now much better conveys the mimic

•Backgrounds are somehow even better than S1

•Peak 3D models, especially with new characters

•As far as I can tell, there are more 2D segments

Midway into the release of Season 2, a one-shot by Q Hayashida herself, dedicated to the Dorohedoro anime’s return will be published in Shogakukan’s Monthly Sunday Magazine.

The anime’s first three episodes will be released on April 1 at 11PM Japan Standard Time to Crunchyroll and Netflix.
