Digimon Adventure Anime Reveals New PV for 25th Anniversary

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Digimon Adventure anime and look back at its world, the Digimon franchise is getting a new promotional film.

The video will feature new illustrations.


Digimon Adventure will have a 25th anniversary display at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro from August 10–25.

An advance showing of the video will be held at the exhibition for Digimon Partners, the official fan community.

1999 saw the debut of the first Digimon Adventure television anime series, while 2000–2001 saw the airing of Digimon Adventure 02 television anime series.

November 2015 saw the opening of the first installment of the six-part Digimon Adventure trilogy in Japan, and May 2018 saw the release of the sixth installment.

In the movies, Taichi is accompanied by his high school pals. On the same day as their Japanese premieres, all six films were made available for streaming on Crunchyroll. Clap! All the movies were released on home video by Factory.

In the “Digimon the Movies Collection 1” set, Digimon Adventure (Digimon Adventure: Born of Koromon), Digimon Adventure Our War Game! (Digimon: Our War Game), Digimon Adventure 02: Digimon Hurricane Touchdown!! (Digimon: The Golden Digimentals), and Digimon: The Movie are the four Digimon movies that will be released by Discotek.

Included in the release are the new, unedited dubs of the original Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure Our War Game!, and Digimon Adventure 02: Digimon Hurricane Touchdown!! movies, which star the beloved cast.

The Japanese soundtrack is used in the newly dubbed version. The films on the release also have English subtitles and Japanese audio.

Furthermore, the original dub from Digimon: The Movie has been included in a newly restored HD version.

Discotek also mentioned that Digimon: The Movie does not have a prequel.

The Digimon Adventure II On October 27, the anime film The Beginning debuted in Japan. On November 8–9, it was shown in the United States.

On November 8, the movie debuted in English with subtitles, then on November 9, it was shown in Japanese.

Clap! On June 11, Studios will release the movie digitally and as part of a Collectible Blu-ray Disc and DVD Combo Pack in North America.

The Adventure of Digimon: Last Evolution The story of the Kizuna sequel was “the last adventure of Tai and Agumon.” The movie debuted in Japan in February 2020 and was later released internationally in 2020–2021.
