Detective Conan’s 27th Movie Announces The Highest Screenings In Franchise’s History

The movie will be screened in 515 cinemas.

On Monday, the official website for the 27th Detective Conan movie announced that the movie will be screened in 515 cinemas across Japan, marking it the highest number in the franchise’s history.

Two new visuals and a video announcing the film’s simultaneous screening in IMAX, MX4D, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema were released as well.

On April 12, the 27th movie in the Detective Conan series will make its debut in Japan.

The movie’s theme song is “Sōshi Sōai” (Mutual Love)” by AIKO.

Detective Conan (Case Closed) is a manga written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. He serialized the manga in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in January 1994.

The manga has about 103 tankobon volumes and Viz Media publishes the manga in English.
