On December 21, 2025 for Jump Festa 2026, it was announced that Dandadan Season 3 will be coming in 2027, which will be the first time Dandadan fans will have to wait more than a year for a new 12-episode long season.

The announcement came with a visual featuring Okarun with Turbo Granny on his back, Momo Ayase crouching and Vamola on her Kaiju suit.

For the event, author Yukinobu Tatsu drew Okarun, Momo and Turbo Granny walking.

Previously on September 19th with the airing of its final episode, Season 3 was confirmed to be in production.

As Season 2 has only adapted from Chapter 34: “The Kito Family Is Coming” to Chapter 71: “I’m Sick of Robots and Kaiju!!”, a total of 37 chapters, Season 3 will likely cover most if not all of Dandadan’s longest arc, the Space Globalist Arc, which covers Chapter 74: “Let’s Go Back to School” to Chapter 120: “Reiko Kashima’s Maiden Heart”, a total of 47 chapters.

Dandadan is the first series that Science SARU has done multiple seasons for.
