Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture Anime Project New Trailer Reveals May 2024 Debut

Code Geass is beloved by many anime fans and I’m sure that I speak for everyone when I say, the ending of Code Geass is one of the best in the industry.

And now, fans will be excited to know that it’s back with a bang!

The official website of Code Geass anime announced the title of the previously announced anime project, which is “Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture”. This is a completely new story from the previous anime with new characters and focusing on the lives of two brothers, Rozé and Ashe.

Being part of the series’ 10th anniversary celebration, this anime will be screened theatrically in four parts, starting from May 2024. The global release date and format are yet to be revealed.

As shown in the trailer, the theme song “Running In My Head” will be performed by MIYAVI, who also performed the ending theme for ID: INVADED.

A key visual was also revealed, showcasing the new character who will appear in this anime.

About Code Geass:

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion,often referred to simply as Code Geass, is a anime-original television series produced by Sunrise. It was directed by Gorō Taniguchi and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi, with original character designs by Clamp.

The first season was broadcast from October 2006 to July 2007. The second season ran from April to September 2008. The series has also been adapted into various manga and light novels, with the former showing alternate scenarios from the TV series.

A trilogy compilation film titled Initiation, Transgression, and Glorification was released from 2017 to 2018. It altered the plots of several characters and created an alternate universe while recapitulating the events of both anime series’ seasons.

Code Geass Lelouch of the Resurrection, an original film set in the film trilogy’s alternate universe subsequent to the Zero Requiem, was screened in theaters in February 2019.
