Chainsaw Man Reaches 35 Million Copies
Chainsaw Man continues to enjoy success as with the latest volume, its sales have risen up quick with 35 million copies sold.
On Ferbuary 1, 2026, it was announced that after 5 years and 23 volumes, Chainsaw Man has sold 35 million copies worldwide.
On January 31st, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End has also reached the same numbers after only 4 years and a recent anime and only 15 volumes.
Recently, Chainsaw Man – Reze Arc: The Movie has been a success, reaching a total of $ 175 million in the worldwide box office, contributing to the most viewed and liked anime-related tweet, and being eligible for the Oscars alongside Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1: Akaza’s Return.
This has also caused a resurgence in sales.
The movie is currently released digitally after a 3-month run in theaters worldwide.

Chainsaw Man is the hit manga written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, who previous authored Fire Punch (2016-2018) and has done multiple one-shot manga throughout his career, including Look Back, which received a highly-acclaimed anime movie adaptation in June 2024.
Published in December 3, 2018, Chainsaw Man began serialization at Weekly Shonen Jump before moving to the Shonen Jump Plus app and website for Part 2 on July 13, 2022.
Chainsaw Man is a manga divided into two parts or sagas, Part 1 that was released from December 3, 2018 to December 14, 2020 while Part 2 began in July 13, 2022 and is still ongoing with 23 volumes as of writing.
Chainsaw Man tells the story of Denji, an impoverished youth, who gains the powers of a devil and becomes Chainsaw Man, the target of many devils who seek his heart.
