Chainsaw Man Editor Creates New Publishing House
With the Chainsaw Man editor forming his own publishing house, will we see Fujimoto do more work here, even a Chainsaw Man continuation?
On April 17, 2026, 3 weeks after the end of Chainsaw Man, Shihei Lin, the editor for Chainsaw Man, Dandadan, and Spy x Family, has announced that he has established his own publishing house called “Mix Green” and launches a call for artists.
Lin joined Shueisha as an editor in 2006 but has left by August 2022 yet continues working with the artists he edited for as a freelance editor, indicating that he is still the editor for Spy x Family and Dandadan, both of which are still ongoing.
It is noted that the artists behind those two works share a connection with another of Lin’s artists, Tatsuki Fujimoto, being his former assistants.
There is also speculation that Fujimoto himself could be joining and might make another work there since the usual “look forward to his next work” message appeared at the end of the final chapter.
