On July 9, 2025, we receive the volume cover for the final Volume 8 of Blue Lock: Episode Nagi, the spinoff to Blue Lock, featuring the main pair Seishiro Nagi and Reo Mikage with a sunset background, signaling the end of the spinoff and could signal the bitter tone in their current relationship in the main story.
Perhaps the spinoff was to cushion the blow of Nagi’s departure from Blue Lock in the latest material.
