Big Announcement for the One Piece Anime and Live-Action Season 2
Does this news conference potentially announce yet another break for the One Piece anime?
On October 26, 2025, it was announced by the official One Piece Twitter account that there will be a One Piece News Press Conference, similar to the previous year released on October 13, where it was announced that One Piece anime will be on break for six months.
The event will take place on October 28, 2025 at 9:45 PM Japan time.
The news will cover both the One Piece anime and the live-action series.
Most likely, we might get a final date for the live-action Netflix series and other updates.
Previously, the Netflix series has already revealed the titles for the eight episodes.
With the inclusion of anime news and the previous news conference being hyped up ahead of time, this news could be significant to the anime or may even lead into a break before the Elbaph Arc is adapted.
With 1163 chapters and only adapting up to Chapter 1112, there are 51 chapters yet to be adapted, so a break will increase that number to widen the gap.
