Akane Banashi Adaptation Coming Soon?
Akane Banashi might have an anime coming up soon as an upcoming big announcement and a new site domain seem to imply.
On July 31, 2025, it was reported that Akane-Banashi will be receiving an anime adaptation judging from a new web domain, ‘akane-banashi dot com’
Additionally, the manga will get a cover on the magazine and a Lead Color in the next Jump issue, as well as a special extra chapter alongside the weekly chapter.
Will the next issue, due August 18, 2025, announce the adaptation?
Volume 18 will also be released on September 4, 2025.
About Akane-Banashi
Akane-Banashi was written by Yuki Suenaga and illustrated by Takamasa Moue for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, beginning February 14, 2022.
Having reached 17 volumes, the manga has sold more than 2 million copies as of September 2024.
Akane-Banashi is the story of Akane, a young girl who aspires to become a skilled Rakugo artist under Shiguma Arakawa’s tutelage.
