Aimer’s Demon Slayer Opening Theme Crosses 400 Million Views On Japanese Billboard!

There have only been 3 other female solo artists to exceed 400 million streams on the Billboard JAPAN streaming songs rankings before Aimer.

The official Twitter handle of Japanese Popstar “Aimer” stated on November 8, 2023, that the opening theme for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc and the 20th single by Aimer, “Zankyo Sanka,” has surpassed 400 million total streams on the Billboard JAPAN chart.

There have only been 3 other female solo artists to exceed 400 million streams on the Billboard JAPAN streaming songs rankings before Aimer.

It took 16 months to double the number of streams, with the song hitting 200 million in July 2022.

In her Twitter, Aimer thanks both hers and Demon Slayer fans for their continued support by saying “400 million! Thank you very much. Let the voice roar, Beyond the night!

Additionally, the song’s music video has almost reached 200 million views on Aimer’s official YouTube channel.

About Demon Slayer:

Demon Slayer’s first season aired in October 2019. This was followed by a movie titled Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train in October 2020.

A seven-episode arc titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc, which adapts the Mugen Train movie, debuted in October 2021.

After that, a one-hour special of The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Ykaku-hen) television anime debuted in December 2021.

Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc aired in 2023.
