9. Gintama:

Gintama is a science fiction and comedy anime. It aired on TV from April 4, 2006, to March 29, 2007, with a total of 49 episodes. The story revolves around an eccentric handyman named Gintoki, his apprentice, Shinpachi Shimura, and a teenage alien girl named Kagura.

To us, Gintama is one the quirkiest and weirdest animes we have ever watched, in a good way. The anime is fairly episodic in nature at times, with small funny stories in an episode. There are a lot of callbacks, references to other animes, and Gen-Z humor in this 2006 show! For example, in one of the episodes, Gintoki became the main character of One Piece!

When it comes to the comedy genre, Gintama is quintessential!

8. The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K: 

The disastrous life of Saiki K follows Kusuo Saiki, a high school student with all kinds of psychic abilities. Life can never be exciting or interesting for someone who has almost every superpower to exist.

While the anime is episodic in nature, it is chaotic and funny, especially because of Saiki’s reactions. It becomes even funnier when you realize that Saiki and Levi from Attack on Titan have the same VA!

The show humorously covers all the problems Saiki can have – from his inability to enjoy a book, thanks to his Psychometry, all the way to the city’s destruction because of his sneeze.

7. Great Teacher Onizuka:

Great Teacher Onizuka, aka GTO revolves around a 22-year-old ex-biker gang leader, Eikichi Onizuka. Now, he has a new and reformed ambition to become a high school teacher. He lands the job of homeroom teacher of a hopeless class. However, he only chose this job in pursuit of pretty high-school girls! To his shock, this dream is soon shattered.

All of his talents are put to the test, as his class is particularly infamous. The students of this class use psychological warfare to mentally break any new homeroom teacher they get, forcing them to quit and leave school. It is now up to Onizuka to discipline such a horrendous classroom!

Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama, possesses psychic powers. He could bend spoons and lift objects with his mind from a young age.

In order to overcome his skills and powers, he signs up under a man named Arataka Reigen, a con artist claiming to be a psychic who uses Shigeo’s power for money.

However, he isn’t that bad of a person. Arataka gives Shigeo instructions to never use his powers against humans, but only against evil spirits. Working under Reigen, Mob learns about life as he goes on weird and hilarious adventures, and adopts a ball-shaped spirit as a pet.

There is also a thing that he wants to do. It is nothing but to be friends with a girl in his class, Tsubomi. With his psychic “mentor,” he continues his daily life.

5. Nichijou: My ordinary life:

There’s one thing to know about this anime: nothing is normal, for us normal humans here.

Nichijou primarily focuses on the daily life of childhood friends, Mio Naganohara, Yuuko Aioi, and Mai Minakam. Their stories soon entwine with the young genius Hakase Shinonome, her robot caretaker Nano, and their talking cat Sakamoto.

With every passing day, the lives of these six and the many people around them experience both the calm of normal life and the insanity of the absurd.

Nichijou’s comedy is a mash-up of gag, moe, slice-of-life, and slapstick. All the characters go through extremely funny events throughout the show, which is extremely entertaining to watch!

The Daily Life Of High School Boys is a slice-of-life anime. With only one season consisting of 12 episodes, the anime revolves around three high school boys.

When he enters the shop, his seniors convince him to join their strange parties. At the beginning of his ideal life, he is sucked into alcoholic activities (a true college experience, to be honest). As time passes, Iori quickly gives in and becomes the heart and soul of the party.

Unfortunately, his cousin, Chisa Kotegawa, walks in at precisely the wrong time and catches him in the act. Determined, Iori still vows to realize his ideal college life, but will things go according to plan this time, or will his situation take yet another dive?

The story of this comedy anime is about the Demon Lord Satan seeking to conquer the land of Ente Isla with his vast demon armies. The demon king is only one step away from taking over the world, but Hero Emilia opposes him, forcing Demon King to retreat to the other world.

Along with his loyal Alsiel, the demon finds himself in modern-day Tokyo, but he promises that he will overpower the Ente Isla one day. To achieve his ultimate ambition, he has to find a way back! For the time being, Satan disguises himself as a human named Sadao Maou. to meet his expenses, and he begins to work at MgRonald’s—a local fast-food restaurant.

Whether it’s part-time work, household chores, or simply trying to pay the rent on time, The Demon Lord experiences an amusing way of the tedious aspects of everyday life.

This story is about an educated girl, Haruhi Fujioka, who has recently signed up at the prestigious Ouran Academy.

One day, while looking for a quiet and peaceful place to study, Haruhi surprisingly stumbles upon the host club led by Tamaki Suou—the founder and president of the club.

She tries to remove herself from the host as she startles the scholarship students by getting panicked by their behavior. Haruhi ends up breaking a vase, and to compensate for the price of the vase, she gets forced into becoming the eccentric group’s general errand boy.

Though she is a girl, with her naturally sociable attitude toward girls, she is soon promoted to full-time male host. And before long, Haruhi jumps into flashy lighting of elaborate cosplays, rich food, and exciting capers that only the immensely wealthy Host Club can pull off.
