Is Hunter x Hunter Set for An October Return?

Hunter x Hunter might actually return sooner than expected with the latest update.

On September 10, 2025, on his official Twitter account, Hunter x Hunter author Yoshihiro Togashi has posted an update, stating that Chapter 419’s background designs are now complete.

Every week, Togashi has since posted updates on the progress of the upcoming chapters 411 to 420.

Previously on August 19, he has announced work on Chapter 413, signaling the inevitable return of the Hunter x Hunter manga, the first update from Togashi in 8 months after the previous run ended.

Hunter x Hunter previously returned on October 7, 2024 with 10 chapters and the newest Volume 38 (Chapters 391 to 400).
