Falling Devil vs Asa and Denji! Chainsaw Man Chapter 206 Review!
Can Denji and Asa actually defeat their first Primal Devil directly?

The chapter begins with Denji immediately taking notice of the Falling Devil’s prominent chest.
Yoru reminds Denji that this is the Falling Devil, whom they encountered previously about 80 chapters ago.
Wow, Part 2’s pacing is that slow.
Yoru tells Denji to save her as she was pinned beneath some rubble.
The Falling Devil allows Denji to do as he pleases, except to get in the way of her job to plunge humanity into an abyss of terror as she was ordered to by her superior, the Death Devil.
The Falling Devil lifts two buildings, leading to Denji attacking the Primal Fear.
However, Denji is reverted back to human form, seemingly standing on the edge of his chainsaw before it could even hit the Falling Devil.
We then zoom into the Falling Devil’s face, where she unleashes her Trauma Anti-Gravity by bringing out the image of the deceased Fake Chainsaw Man from her mouth.
The twin asks Denji that he ought to know what the pain and sorrow of losing someone feels like yet Denji still chose to kill without remorse.
As the twin splits apart, Denji reverts to his young self, apologizing for this death, which reminds me of Griffith from Berserk seeing the men that died for his dream in a vision from the Eclipse, but here, he refuses to apologize or he will regret his dream.
Resulting in the present, adult Denji floating up in the sky.
The Falling Devil tells Denji to be a good boy since he is the Death Devil’s precious pawn.
Still trapped in the boulder, Asa tries to use the Gun Devil hand to shoot away the rubble but Yoru warns her not to do it or she will be blown away as well since the hand is trapped in the boulder too.
Still, Asa does this and she is unstuck from the rubble.
The explosion from the back of the Falling Devil is definitely a Goodbye Eri reference.
The chapter ends with Asa rushing to grab hold onto a falling Denji’s foot, only to hang on for dear life due to the trauma gravity.
