Is Denji Man Cooked? Yoru Returns to Being a Fraud! Chainsaw Man Chapter 227 Review
Yoru the War Devil seizes an opening and prepares to finish off Denji. Are we really entering the final stages of this battle?
In the previous Chainsaw Man chapter, the Locust Devil wrecks Yoru and Denji.
Chainsaw Man Chapter 227 is titled, “The Taste of Shrimp and Blood”
This chapter has 15 pages.
The chapter begins with Denji losing his right arm and asking Asa about this Devil but she has no idea, not even from Yoru’ memories.
Something we missed in the last review is that when the Locust Devil was wrecking Yoru last chapter, she had intentionally switched back to Asa, hence why he said she cheated.
Now this is interesting because it means this Devil is no ally of Yoru’s and has been in hiding, with its power being unknown.
The Locust Devil charges from behind and Denji throws him off but the Devil grabs the intestinal scarf to throw Denji in turn through some buildings.
Now the Locust Devil fires swarms of locusts at Denji.
With Denji outgunned, Asa throws Denji his severed arm and with the chains attached to it, Denji pulls the Locust Devil towards him to finish him off, eating the Devil and erasing it.
Shame we know nothing about this weird Devil.

Asa wonders if Denji is alright and Denji says that it tastes like shrimp.
“Tastes like shrimp” may make people reclassify the Devil but keep in mind that Denji has never tried locust before, which is a delicacy in some countries such as Thailand.
Suddenly, Yoru takes over Asa’s body and shoots down Denji through another building, which results in his left arm being crushed.
The second shot destroys Denji’s legs, leaving him immobile as Yoru prepares to finish him off with the final Gun Devil shot
Chainsaw Man Chapter 228 will be released on January 28, 2026.
