Yoru’s STRONGEST WEAPON Destroys a PRIMAL FEAR! Chainsaw Man Chapter 207 Review!

In the previous Chainsaw Man chapter, Falling Devil traumatizes Denji for the second time.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 207 is titled, “Budda, Budda, Budda, Budda!”

This chapter has 14 pages.

Good job with the creativity there, Fujimoto.

The chapter begins where we left off as Asa hangs on to Denji’s foot as he is floating from the Trauma Anti-Gravity.

Asa tells Denji not to be afraid and to think happy thoughts to escape the Anti-Gravity’s hold.

Denji says he does not deserve to be happy.

But this admission actually shows he does and that he genuinely feels guilt.

Chainsaw Man is a coming of age story where a teenager who has the mind and experiences of a child in danger is able to think for himself and more than about himself.

He realizes the weight of consequences, ironically by being forced to be weightless.

Denji realizes that he has done the worst things to other people, things he has experienced, that is in the form of losing people.

He understood that by killing Fake Chainsaw Man’s twin brother, he and the hypocrite were not only equals in culpability but also in trauma, that he too was not realizing how many people he had hurt the same way Denji himself had been hurt with the losses of Nayuta, Aki, Power and many others.

So Asa offers to make Denji happy herself, wanting to fill the void of Denji’s lost found family, lost friends, and an uncaring cruel world.

Denji wonders how and Asa says that she is not sure but they can think of it together.

Then at the same time, she also says that Denji is so dumb but he has to think for himself.

Suddenly, more buildings fly towards the duo, moving Asa to say that they have to stop the Falling Devil.

Denji asks why and Asa gives the obvious answer:

They are superheroes.

Realizing that Gun Devil attacks are useless, Asa moves to finally use the Tank Devil.

This leads to Asa switching places with Yoru.

And we get to the big panel of the chapter, of Yoru creating a massive, heavy cannon, loaded up with every single sword and ammunition she has ever created: Tanaka’s spinal column sword, Asa’s school uniform sword, her aquarium sword and her Room 606 sword,

The weight of the cannon and all the ammunition leads to an addition of gravity, much to Denji’s dismay.

Interestingly, we see Yoru use this gun on her Gun Devil arm but she is using the Tank Devil, probably with the added weight and the ability to store ammunition since Tanks have Guns in front of them.

In launching every weapon, Yoru was able to cut and mutilate the Falling Devil’s body.

Although she was able to keep her head together, the chapter ends with a mass of weapons lying on the ground.

Did Yoru actually defeat the Falling Devil, a Primal Fear, with EVERY Weapon of War?
