MONKEY KING LUFFY!!! One Piece Chapter 1198 Early Spoilers!

In the previous One Piece chapter, Sanji awakens his Conqueror’s Haki at long last.

One Piece Chapter 1198 is titled, “The Island of Monsters”

Which sounds like a Momotaro reference.

The cover page features Pudding wearing glasses with three lenses to accommodate her three eyes.

Sanji shatters Killingham’s armor with a powerful kick and sends him flying. Killingham is now running away in fear from Sanji, just like how Sommers was fleeing from Zoro.

The Rain God Zaza MMA stretches her body toward the ship, cts off her own arm, and throws the kdnapped children aboard.

Killingham senses Imu’s Haki.

This means Zoro and Sanji’s fights are far from over and the children are now about to leave Elbaph.

Because something else BIG is coming!

Imu reveals his third form, transforming into an enormous creature with an elongated torso, a long neck, and massive horns.

We finally see Loki in his impressive Hybrid Zoan Form as he begins fighting Imu.

It appears that Luffy has left the battlefield. Loki comments that he never expected Luffy to run away in the middle of their battle against Imu.

Imu asks Loki about the ancient technology possessed by Elbaph, but Loki claims he knows nothing about it.

Imu acknowledges Loki’s strength but ultimately defeats him with a single powerful blow.

Imu constantly transforming might be tied to Frieza’s approach to transformations, with each as a skin for suppressing his powers.

This third form is becoming closer and closer to the giant Devil form in Mary Geoise that Sabo faced.

-Imu then sets his sights on Luffy. Imu says he must return to Mary Geoise as soon as possible or his life will be in danger.

-Gaban and Usopp wonder why Luffy suddenly ran away.

Gaban also says “That kid… he’s a Zoan-type…”.

-Luffy appears on the roof of a house in the Giant Village, he is watching Zaza MMA. And he’s transformed into a mysterious new form! He has black hair, a large ape-like nose, a tail, and fangs.

-Suddenly Luffy jumps and grabs the Rain God Zaza MMA body.

Then he bites Zaza’s body causing it to explode!

The Monkey King slays a god!

-The giants are left wondering: “Who the hell is that?!”

This might have been foreshadowed in a recent chapter cover as in Chapter 1189: “King of the World”, we see Zoro, Sanji and Luffy in monkey forms, following the three wise monkeys that embody “Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil”.

Look at the number, as it is reversed and it becomes 1198, with the title reflecting the story of Momotaro, with Imu as the Oni and Luffy as the Monkey.

Note that the Tale of Momotaro also inspired the Three Admirals (Monkey, Pheasant, Dog).

Elbaph might have also set up Luffy’s transformation in multiple steps.

The first form of Gear 5 is the God of Laughter.

The Monkey King might be the God of Destruction.

The final transformation could be the God of Liberation.
