Chainsaw Man Singer Joins the Look Back Live-Action

On August 20, 2026, the official website for the live-action film of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s “Look Back” one-shot manga announced that Kenshi Yonezu, the singer behind Chainsaw Man’s “Kick Back”, “Iris Out” and “Jane Doe” will make a special musical contribution to the upcoming live-action adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s ‘Look Back.’

Yonezu is credited as “Shark Kick Guitar” and provides a special guest guitar performance that can be heard in one particular scene of the film.

Shark Kick is a Chainsaw Man paraody within the Look Back one-shot, which was released on July 19, 2021.

Coincidentally, on the 2026 New Year, Yonezu performed “Iris Out” on a shark.

Alongside him is Toku Miura, who will perform an insert song within the film.

Directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda, the movie stars Natsuki Deguchi as Fujino and Aju Makita as Kyomoto and is set to hit Japanese theaters on September 11, 2026.
