SANJI’S CONQUEROR’S HAKI AWAKENING!! One Piece Chapter 1187 Spoilers!

In the previous One Piece chapter, after four chapters, Brook’s second flashback concludes and we see Luffy in his base form punch Imu the same way he did St. Charloss.

One Piece Chapter 1187 is titled “Ringleader”

This chapter has 17 pages.

The cover sows Reiju protecting a black duck (with Sanji’s eyes and hairstyle) from its siblings and father, who all have the Vinsmoke family’s eyes, hairstyles, and Judge-like helmets.

This is a representation of Reiju’s love for her younger brother Sanji, their dynamic throughout their lives.

Hopefully, we hope to see Sanji reunite with Reiju and maybe even Pudding and recover his memories of his affair with Pudding.

And the cover is timely since this is a Sanji chapter.

Luffy Battle IQ Strikes Again!

The chapter begins with Imu flying off but before crashing, he summons two sentient black flames (Omen) that fly off.

An injured Loki was impressed but insists that this was possible for Luffy to do because Loki already softened Imu.

Luffy looks worried about Loki’s injuries.

Imu flies back for them.

Suddenly, the two sentient black flames summoned by Imu each attach themselves to Luffy and Loki, talking about reaching the chest and spreading all over him.

Forming a circle with his fingers, Imu activates, “Stigma”, the kanji being read as “Pnmaken” or “Vengeful Demon Sword.”

This results in another black flaming sword just like Nemesis but this time, it homes in on the sentient flames like a target, piercing him.

Just before Imu fires the attack, Luffy jumps away from Loki.

Nami uses a lightning attack on Ragnir’s ice, and she is backed by Jinbei, Usopp, and Franky.

They are all trying to move the ice, but it won’t budge.

Franky tells them maybe it is diamond, and Usopp asks isn’t it water.

They talk about touching it and note that it is cold.

As this happens, Loki is blasted all the way back into the giant ice block where Gunko/Shuri is frozen.

The hammer falls on the ice block, causing it to melt, just as Ragnir changes to squirrel form.

Princess Shuri is about to be freed.

Back to the battle, we see a moment of brilliance from Luffy as he takes off his cloak, preventing the flames from being used as a target.

Zoro is Sanji’s Biggest Fan Deep Down

ZORO AND SOMMERS’ FULL INTERACTION IN THE CHAPTER:

Zoro arrives at Sommers’ location by the port, where the recovered ship that will transport the children kidnapped by Killingham is docked.

Zoro finally meets one of the “three demons”, conversing with Sommers, who says they will leave once they grab 10-20 kids and Zoro says it is a coincidence that one of his crewmates is heading to the village too but Sommers’ colleague will probably not come back because he will die, implying Zoro’s faith that Sanji will kill his opponent.

Sommers attacks Zoro with his thorn sword, arrogantly claiming that his group is invincible now.

What powers have the empowered Holy Knights received from the Omen flames?

Sanji is About To Be Crowned a King!

Sanji arrives at the Western Village, where Killingham is kidnapping the children with MMA Zaza.

He begins assessing the situation in a monologue.

It has been a while since we got Spy Sanji.

We needed to be reminded of how smart and sharp he is.

He notes three problems.

First problem is that a monster bigger than the giants is abducting children but he will not rescue the children.

But at the same time, he cannot bear to watch the mothers crying in despair and yet he cannot rescue the children due to the second problem, the monster is a woman.

Yet the third problem is he refuses to see a woman cry so he will not take part in the fight against Zaza.

And that is because the root cause of the problem is Killingham, a man, identifying him as the ringleader, hence the chapter title.

Killingham says that he will not be easy, as there is a world of difference between being “tough” and being “immortal”.

Sanji reveals that he knows about the Holy Knights’ weakness and the fight begins as Killingham sends Sanji to one of the giant houses with his trident.

This leads to the conversation from Chapter 1152 regarding Zoro’s Conqueror’s Haki not being sufficient to support Luffy, one of the Four Emperors.

Sanji asks Gaban about his Conqueror’s Haki and in that chapter, we did not see the continuation but here we do.

Gaban says that he does but Sanji holds a dangerous self-deprecation, meaning Sanji has too much self-doubt, a product of his past with the Vinsmoke Family.

Sanji must become a “King” himself too if he truly wants to make Luffy the “King of the Pirates”.

The Final Battle for Elbaph Begins!

The final page shows Luffy activating Gear 5 and it shows a title card.

“Saint Nerona Imu vs Monkey D. Luffy”

Imu calls him Joy boy, which irritates Luffy as he refuses to be called by a bunch of names and declares that he is Luffy, the man who will become the “King of the Pirates”!
