Chainsaw Man’s Final Volume is a Disappointment
With only 4 extra pages and no proper endnote, Chainsaw Man’s final volume concludes the series’ 8-year run without improving on or adding to its controversial ending.
On June 4, 2026, we got the release of Chainsaw Man Volume 24, the final volume of the series, and it comes with only 4 extra pages of content.
The first is an alternate colored page featuring Denji from the ending with one of Makima’s huskies. licking his face.
The Inside Cover: A Fitting End

The back illustration shows Denji looking up at the wide, open sky surrounded by buildings, a fitting and poetic way to conclude the entire franchise, which is in contrast to the very first volume illustration, with Denji looking down, which is one way to at least bring everything full circle.
Yoru’s Official Colors

We also have an extra page with four doodles of Pochita in dog form, chasing and being chased by a bird, which could be the official colors for weakened Yoru, who takes the form of a nightjar bird.
As per tradition, Fujimoto recommends a movie in his volume comment and in this one, he goes with the original inspiration behind Chainsaw Man, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
