Dorohedoro Season 3 Announced
Dorohedoro joins Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man in the lineup of announced anime sequels, with the likelihood of Season 3 coming much sooner and less waiting time than Season 2 had.
On May 27, 2026, with the end of Dorohedoro Season 2, it was announced that Season 3 has begun production.
Along with an illustration from the series director, Yuichiro Hayashi, we get this message:
“Dorohedoro Season 3” production has been confirmed!!🦎
Following the finale’s streaming and the Season 3 production announcement,
an illustration has arrived from director Yūichirō Hayashi!
The must-see depiction of Devil Caiman, his burning impatience for the sequel poured into song 👀

Dorohedoro Season 2 ended on Episode 11, which adapted up to Chapter 79, ending Volume 13.
If Season 3 has the same amount of episodes, it will likely end on Volume 18 in Chapter 117, where Kaiman and Nikaido would reunite ever since Nikaido was forced to be En’s partner, for a total of 37 chapters adapted.
This would mean that Season 4 will be the final Season, ending on Volume 23 or Chapter 167 for a total of 50 chapters, with each chapter being notably shorter than the previous ones.
Unlike the 6-year gap between Seasons 1 and 2, there will likely be less of a wait due to Hayashi and his team no longer having major projects such as Attack on Titan: The Final Season, which has said to have taken up much of their production capabilities to produce.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 and Chainsaw Man Season 2 are set for next year.
Other anticipated sequels from MAPPA include Hell’s Paradise Season 3 and Vinland Saga Season 3, both of which have yet to be announced.
