Megumi Has Returned? What Will Happen in the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Epilogue?
Gege Akutami is about to do the funniest thing with the release of the Jujutsu Kaisen sequel’s final volume
On April 27, 2026, during the Jump Press 2026 announcement, it was confirmed that there will be an “Special Short Chapter” in the final Volume 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo.
Like the original manga, it seems that there will be a more complete ending in the final volume.
The announcement emphasized this will feature “that character” that has yet to appear in the sequel.
The volume will also include information about the characters from the original series, perhaps indicating that we will know the final fates of other characters who are not featured in the sequel.
There will also be various illustrations from both of the authors, Yuji Iwasaki (artist) and Gege Akutami (original author) attached and as shown in the Jump Press release, we see Yuji Iwasaki’s illustration of Modulo Yuji and Mahito, referencing their fight in Chapter 22.
Volume 3 will be released on May 1, 2026 and will cover Chapter 17: “Chaos and Harmony” and Chapter 25: “A Bright Future”
