Imu’s BLACK FLAMES Confirm His Lunarian Identity! One Piece Chapter 1180 Hints!
Are Imu’s black flames a sign of his Lunarian heritage? With Imu being able to easily wipe out the Wings of the Pirate King, how can Luffy take on his TOUGHEST fight ever?
In the previous One Piece chapter, St. Nerona Imu, the King of the World, descends upon Elbaph in the biggest showing of Conqueror’s Haki yet, revealing the power of the original Devil’s Fruit.
One Piece Chapter 1180’s preview is as follows:
“With that person’s appearance, Elbaph is heading into even fiercer battles!?”
Ancient Giant Size?
If we look at the final page of the last chapter, we see that Imu stood on the roof of one of the towers of Aurust Castle.
This is a castle built for Giants, particularly Ancient Giants, who are three times bigger than regular ones.
This includes royal Giants like Harald and Loki, who are 60 meters tall.
Normal Giants are usually around 20 meters in height, meaning the biggest normal humans like Big Mom are still too short for Giants as she was only 8.8 meters.
Morley from the Revolutionary Army is the shortest at 12.53 meters and Road is the tallest normal Giant at 26 meters, about 45% of the height of an Ancient Giant.
The entrances and windows are around 4 times taller than the regular Giants and Loki was able to kick a door that he could easily enter as he was only half the size of the door but was much much bigger for regular Giants.
Imu is bigger than all the windows, which means he might actually be around or even above 60 meters in height.
And keep in mind, even though he appeared small on that tower roof from a distance, he was visible to everyone.
The Giants could easily see him, so he is quite quite massive for them.
Black Flames?
This hint shows black flames.
Black flames and the black smoke of the hagoromo belt of awakened Zoans (both regular and Mythical).
This is from Imu but flames are particular.
This either feels like a power of the Devil’s Fruit or a hint towards Imu being Lunarian, even a fallen one.
We have seen flames come in multiple colors, with Sanji’s fire turning to its regular yellowish-orange color then heated up to blue with Ifrit.
Zoro and Sanji are COOKED
Imu fights with Zoro’s group (Dorry, Brogy Hajrudin) and it does not last long.
Zoro uses his most powerful attack but Imu blocks it with his devil tail.
This is not fully confirmed, however.
Imu went from Zoro to Sanji’s group very fast.
The Wings of the Future Pirate King both put up a fight but they failed.
One of the characters also loses their fingers because of Imu.
Sommers is healed/regenerated but it looks like Zoro has his heart.
A Caesar Clown situation, which is fitting for a perverted monster like Sommers.
