Spy x Family Draws Closer to 50 Million Sales Milestone After Only 17 Volumes
In time for its 7th anniversary, Spy x Family has sold 42 million copies worldwide after 16 volumes and 7 years, closing in on the 50 million milestone after some time and is also the highest-grossing Shonen Jump Plus work.
By March 31, 2026, we got confirmation that Spy x Family sold 42 million copies worldwide across its 16 currently-released volumes.
Although not in the top 10 best-selling manga of 2025, Spy x Family have made considerable gains with 1.5 million copies sold across its two best-selling volumes, Volumes 15 and 16 being 6th and 8th place respectively.
This makes Spy x Family the 74th highest-selling manga of all time, the 30th highest-grossing Shueisha manga of all time, and the 21st highest-grossing ongoing manga across all magazines, as well as the 5th highest-grossing manga in the Shueisha magazine lineup alongside One Piece, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Kingdom and Kinnikuman, and the highest-grossing manga in Shonen Jump Plus, with the recently-concluded Chainsaw Man (35 million) and the ongoing Dandadan (10 million) right behind.
When we compare its success to the likes of Blue Lock, which has also run for 7 years and earned 50 million copies last year, it is quite impressive how popular both series have gotten in a short span of time.
In a previous update on December 2025, Spy x Family had sold 41 million copies, so there was a jump of 1 million within the past 3 months.
This means alongside the now-concluded Chainsaw Man,
On April 3rd, Volume 17 will be released.
