On February 20, 2026, we got the main trailer for Witch Hat Atelier, which is set for April 6, 2026 at 10:00 PM JST.
The trailer shows off some remarkable animation and high detail in the character art and background art.
We see Qifrey explaining the importance of witch hats to restrain overflowing magic and is the mark of a witch, someone who controls magic and an introduction of the characters and world, introducing the rogue witches called the Brimmed Caps

About Witch Hat Atelier
Witch Hat Atelier is a manga written and illustrated by Shirahama Kamome, who has done the character designs for The Elder, an episode of the Star Wars: Visions short film series released in 2021, and has also written the 2022 manga adaptation for it.
Published on Kodansha’s monthly magazine, Morning KC, the manga has over 7.5 million copies in circulation across its 15 volumes as of November 13, 2025.
Witch Hat Atelier follows Coco, who becomes a witch apprentice to fulfill her dream of becoming a witch and restore her mother whom she accidentally turned into stone.
