Cath Arthur EXPOSED! Meliodas vs Cath Palug Rematch Begins! Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 221 Spoilers!

With Cath Arthur exposed for the monster that he is, the final battle for humanity’s future is underway as the Seven Deadly Sins prepare for their rematch after 16 years.

In the previous Four Knights of the Apocalypse chapter, the people of Camelot are forcibly sent to Liones and the fake Arthur loses his perfect Kingdom, facing off against the Seven Deadly Sins.

Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 221 is titled, “Anarchy in Liones”

This chapter has 20 pages.

The chapter cover just shows the people of Camelot finding themselves suddenly in Liones, looking confused, including Elva.

Donny is surprised by the crowd and he hears a familiar voice call out to him.

Howzer explains to the people that the talismans they were given transported them away from the “evil land” of Camelot, which caused the people to erupt in anger as they throw the talismans away.

Suddenly, the night sky turns bright and the people attribute such a miracle to “King Arthur”.

Cath Arthur hams the part of a noble king who decries the Seven Deadly Sins for tricking and kidnapping Camelot’s citizens.

Meliodas throws the remark back at Cath Arthur, telling him to go home alone instead.

The next page shows a contrast of responses, with the commoners condemning him due to his Demon heritage and being “the enemy king”.

On the other panel, the people praise Cath Arthur as the Eternal King, such that they even call him a god.

This makes Arthur smirk.

Cath Arthur stokes the fears of the people like any fascist would, saying that the other species are uniting to strike at “the humans” to take away their happy lives with their loved ones.

Note that he says “you humans” with a lot of tactlessness and lack of care.

Camelot represents modern fascism, the desire for an eternal present to soothe the losses and humiliation of war, resulting in a need to alienate “the other” while prestiging the golden past.

The people cheer so loudly Meliodas shouts at all of them to stop, which makes Arthur see that Meliodas has no defense.

A woman cries out, saying that Camelot allowed her to reunite with her lost child, so she wonders what is wrong with that.

Suddenly, the boy appears and asks his mother why she left him to go to another land.

The woman is confused, saying that they were together for years.

The spirit of the boy says that was not him and that he was actually still alive before being abandoned.

This…is quite messed up.

Not only did Cath Palug drag away people who lost loved ones during the Holy War but intentionally lured in people who could have still stayed with their loved ones.

A husband is surprised to see his deceased wife, who asks if her husband was dreaming, meaning Cath must have caused sme of these victims to think they had lost someone and then find false happiness in Camelot.

All these spirits appeared without being in the Capital of the Dead thanks to Gareth’s Conjuration, which allows him to call forth the spirits of the dead, like he did for Percival’s grandfather in Chapter 196: “Despair and Hope”

Chion affirms these findings, saying that the people there were only trapped by their own wishes, with illusions created by Camelot.

Gareth calls for more spirits to reunite with the entire crowd, which would mean Gareth will be out of commission for a while.

This explains why Elva was in Camelot, which surprised Donny as he had not heard from her in a long time.

She had thought that Donny died during the timeskip but like everyone else, those separated from still-living loved ones by distance were tricked by Camelot: first making them think their loved one died and then reunite them in the land of Camelot.

Cath Arthur tries to dismiss the Conjuration as a trick by the Sins but the people are fed up with Arthur’s lies and now the tide turns, with Arthur being called a liar.

One man even says that because of this deception, his memories of his wife are scarred now.

Cath Arthur tries to insist the people owe him a debt of gratitude but all of them and Liones look at him with contempt.

Cath expresses some relief as this moment affirms humanity’s “true nature”, being easily swayed by the crowd, failures created by God (Chaos), filled with contradictions.

Again, Cath is admitting this is Chaos but now accepts that reality as rebellion towards his mother.

Cath charges a massive ball of energy, expressing how he intended to keep the charade until everyone was at their happiest, probably the early reign with Guinevere but now Cath says play time is over, concluding his own game that he enjoyed too much.

Cath launches the ball and Meliodas comes in with a Full Counter, which turns the ball into faces of Chaos.

Now Meliodas knows the person he is speaking to is not Arthur so he asks who the Eternal King really is.

Arthur is seemingly protected by the Four Evils, setting up the battle between the Seven Deadly Sins and Camelot to settle the score.

Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 222 is titled, “Seven Deadly Sins vs. Eternal King!” and will be released on January 21, 2026.
