A Legless, Deathless World! Chainsaw Man Chapter 224 Review!

In the previous Chainsaw Man chapter, Denji ragebaits Yoru with the living heads of her Devil friends while Yoru prepares to use the Moon on Denji.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 225 is titled, “Moon, Spear, Spear”

This chapter has 15 pages.

Unfortunately, Yoru disappoints us like usual.

She does not throw the moon like Thanos did in Avengers: Infinity War.

Instead, she throws the US flag like a Spear of Longinus, with the moon, claimed by America, as a homing system.

Essentially, another giant gun but without the moon turning into one.

Either Fujimoto got lazy or Yoru lost her sauce.

Maybe the Creativity Devil was eaten too, assuming such a fear exists.

The spear, however, is quite powerful, able to destroy a building and it pierces the Lion Devil that was on Denji’s body.

As Yoru is angry at seeing yet another friend hurt by Denji’s antics, the spear continues hunting Denji down, going through various buildings while Yoru chases after him.

But while Denji gets an idea, this eureka moment freezes him in place for the spear to pierce him hard, causing him to land.

Yoru condemns Denji for his antics, using her friends as shields and running away, and says that he is lower than a Devil.

Which is…a human or maybe a subconscious rephrasing as Yoru looks down on all humans yet here, the comparison is that Denji is lower than a Devil, a species associated with trickery.

Still, Yoru looks forward to Denji admitting defeat even a little bit to secure Denji as a weapon.

While Denji seemingly bleeds out by being stuck with the Moon Spear and covers his bleeding mouth, Yoru hops around buildings, envisioning how she will make her world perfect by using her Chainsaw Man weapon as a means to drive humans to battle each other.

Suddenly, Yoru trips, which is uncharacteristic for her since she is no longer Asa.

This would have been the perfect moment where we reveal, like in Jujutsu Kaisen, that the vessel is fighting back.

Except that is not happening as it turns out…

Her legs are gone.

We see Denji laughing, bringing up the woman he forgot about (Death Devil) and how, while pretending to work for her for a good 3 chapters, Death was able to give him some of her Devil pawns.

We see multiple Devil figures being kept.

It is hard to make out a majority of them but one of them resembles the Eternity Devil and another could be the Future Devil.

As it turns out, Denji ate the Leg Devil.

Who is afraid of a bunch of legs?

Perhaps this fear comes from the fear of being trampled on or stepped down.

Crowd crushes and stampedes are a frightening experience so perhaps the Leg Devil embodies that.

Unfortunately, this also applies to Denji as he too has no legs.

The entire Deathless World has no legs.

This means humans will no longer march to war.

Arms will be used to move the half-bodies around.

It will be funny if there is still fighting.

Now, with all these Devil pawns in his little hands, Denji makes an offer Yoru cannot refuse.

Give back Asa her body or Yoru loses her world.

Will Chainsaw Man’s final battle be a battle of floating heads?

Or a full chapter of heads bickering?

Or even headless bickering?

This is the last Chainsaw Man chapter of 2025.

From the defeat of the Aging Devil to the reveal of the true Death Devil after 3 years of hype to her own demise, we went through 36 chapters of chaos in 52 weeks.

In one year, we saw two Primal Devils be defeated, with Death herself erased.

Chainsaw Man approaches the end of its second part.

If Part 3 happens, will the Devils Pochita has eaten by released to cause even more chaos?
