Chainsaw Man Claims the Most Liked and Viewed Tweet
Chainsaw Man makes anime history with this viral video.
On December 12, 2025, Kenshi Yonezu, the artist behind the Chainsaw Man openings, “Kick Back” for Season 1 and “Iris Out” and its ending theme “Jane Doe” (with Hikaru Utada) for the movie, posted a short dance video of Reze dancing to the song, “Iris Out”
The viral video has reached 800,000 likes in under a day and currently at 1.3 million likes, making it the most viewed and liked tweet on Chainsaw Man and anime of all time.
The animation was created by MAPPA resident animator, Akiko Kudo, an acclaimed animator known for her works on Vinland Saga, Attack on Titan: The Final Season and, most recently, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc.
While some cinemas are still showing the movie, the Reze Arc has accumulated a total of $ 175 million worldwide, making it the 14th highest-grossing Japanese film of all time and MAPPA’s highest-grossing film this year (Jujutsu Kaisen 0 still tops this at $ 196 million and at 11th place).
