Ida’s Death and Why Loki Killed Harald! One Piece Chapter 1168 Hints!
Before we find out how Harald died, we see Loki’s reaction to his stepmother Ida’s death and what led to Harald’s assassination later on.
In the previous One Piece chapter, we learn about the three Covenants with Imu and Shanks’ life as a double agent, serving as a Devoted Blade of God while helping Fisher Tiger free the slaves, as well as how Loki avenged Ida’s poisoning.
One Piece Chapter 1168 will continue from where we left off as Loki avenges Ida, who seems to be nearing her death.
Some hints show that there will be a small timeskip, either after Ida’s death or immediately in the chapter, as there has been throughout this long flashback.
Ida’s Death
This hint shows a hospital visit, indicating that Loki will witness Ida’s dying moments, an incredibly emotional moment from someone who supposedly could not know love.
But in spending time with Ida and Hajrudin, he found the only family that could care for him, a family he secretly loved.
With her death, will Loki transform into the monster Elbaph fears?
Will this even motivate Loki’s vendetta towards his father Harald outside of his service to the World Government that killed his idol and mutual friend, Rocks D. Xebec?
The AbyssÂ
This hint shows a pentagram, the shape of Imu and the Knights of God’s Abyss Seal, which was found on Aurust Castle in the present day
Now we will see how that was placed.
Underworld?
This hint shows plenty of snow, indicating that the chapter will take place in the Underworld, the layer of Elbaph that is perpetually winter.

One Piece Chapter 1169 will be released on December 22, 2025.
This means Chapter 1170 will be the final chapter of One Piece in 2025, set for December 29th, bringing the chapter total to 35.
