Chainsaw Man Continues to Grow in Success
While Chainsaw Man manga sales have slowed down, the movie’s modest success might reignite the series back to its golden years.

On October 8, 2025, it was announced that Chainsaw Man’s manga sales have reached 31 million copies internationally.
The previous update was from last year, December 2025, at 30 million copies sold, showing Chainsaw Man’s slow sales growth compared to previous years, with 2025 rising from 27 million to 30 million.
Furthermore, on October 11, 2025, it was announced that Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc has reached over $ 50 million from the international box office 22 days after its Japan release.
Notably, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle” has the distinct acclaim of being the highest-grossing Japanese film and the sixth-highest-grossing film of 2025 with $ 635 million, surpassing DC’s Superman, which only had $616 million.
Even then, upon release, the Chainsaw Man movie topped the first week, breaking Demon Slayer’s nine-week dominance.
