Sakamoto Days Live-Action Announced
Sakamoto Days will have a live-action movie coming soon.
On September 18, 2025, on Issue 43 of Weekly Shonen Jump, Sakamoto Days is on the cover and it has been confirmed that a live-action movie for Sakamoto Days is in the works.
Sakamoto Days will end its second run of the anime with Episode 22: “Each One’s Mission”, to be released on September 22, 2025, in time for the release of the issue.

Sakamoto Days was first released on November 21, 2020 by Yuto Suzuki for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and has reached 23 volumes as of August 4, 2025 and sold over 12 million copies as of June 2025.
Sakamoto Days is the story of Japan’s greatest hitman, Taro Sakamoto, who marries an ordinary woman, Aoi, and forms a family, giving up the dangerous life of an assassin with a vow to never kill again.
