Kaguya Sama Author Has Started Yet Another New Manga
Kaguya-sama’s author has been working on yet another new manga while working on his series with the Record of Ragnarok artist.
On August 20, 2025, Akasaka has released a new manga titled “CRBR – Crazy Raccoon Battle Royale” with E-Sports Team Crazy Racoon.
The manga is published on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket and Ichijinsha’s Comic Howl and is about a reclusive boy who became a gaming obsessed shut-in and receives an email invitation from the popular E-Sports Team Crazy Raccoon in a battle royale.
As writer, Akasaka has also released a new manga on March 18, 2025 titled “Märchen Crown”, with series composition by Aoi Kujira and illustrated by Record of Ragnarok artist Ajichik.
Akin to Rapunzel, Marchen Crown is set in a fantasy world about a girl stuck in a tower, who is discovered by a village boy and they fall in love and explore the world, which turns out to be a lot more horrifying than expected.
Prior to this and during the final run of Oshi no Ko, Akasaka also wrote for Renai Daikō (Love Agency), running 4 volumes at Weekly Young Jump from April 27, 2023 to June 6, 2024.
