Rocks D. Xebec Was the World’s Greatest Swordsman Before MIHAWK! One Piece Chapter 1155 Additional Spoilers!

In the previous One Piece chapter, we finally meet Rocks D. Xebec, the father of Marshall D. Teach.

One Piece Chapter 1155 is titled, “The Rocks Pirates”

In our early spoilers post, a lot of Xebec’s feats have been brought up but now we have space to discuss two things: Xebec’s actual swordsmanship and the fight with Harald.

Xebec’s known for its characteristic ability to blow away surrounding objects as if struck by a giant hammer or a cannon blast.

And all of that without a black blade.

A black blade is formed from years and years of Haki infusion, such that the blade gains a black color.

This means that Xebec’s basic swordsmanship skill is pure physical strength, not Haki.

The clash between Rocks and Harald appeared to be a no-contact battle similar to Roger vs Whitebeard (a Conqueror’s Haki clash).

Their confrontation instantly cleared out all human presence within a 5-kilometer radius.

The Levely would have not only Kings but the nearby bodyguards and personnel from Mary Geoise, including CP-0 that only care about protecting the Celestial Dragons.

A 5-kilometer radius could affect such characters, which means Rocks and Harald were a tier above the generation that came after them.

We have reached a level of power that surpasses even those with 5 Billion Berry Bounties.

Because of this strength, Xebec held great admiration for Harald, hence why he came to Elbaph, likely the same way Roger viewed Garp and Whitebeard, as rivals he admired for their power.

Essentially, he is not only the strongest Pirate and “true” Pirate King that is stronger than Pirate King Gol D. Roger but he might be the World’s Greatest Swordsman
