Did Fujimoto Just Kill Off This Character? Chainsaw Man Chapter 208 Review!

In the previous Chainsaw Man chapter, Yoru unleashes her first ultimate weapon, a Tank Gun that launches all her stocked swords.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 208 is titled, “Change My Mind”

Released on July 8, 2025, this chapter has 14 pages.

The chapter begins with Denji and Yoru witnessing  the Falling Devil place her head back on and rise, with the swords floating behind her.

The Falling Devil clarifies to Yoru that the fear of falling awakens in all living things the moment they are born but war is a man-made concept, thus as a Primal Devil, the Falling Devil ranks above her.

But famine is hunger, the natural fear of not being able to eat and thus survive.

Why is the real Fami so weak?

Or perhaps she cannot die like the Falling Devil.

Falling brings down the weapons to wound the pair.

Yoru’s leg is broken, which leads to Denji carrying her.

Denji tells “Asa-Yoru” to make a Chainsaw Motorcycle out of anything but Yoru clarifies that she needs an actual motorcycle to make a motorcycle.

When they used it during the Falling Devil Arc, they did need a motorcycle and it would have been a useless option if not for the fact both Denji and Asa cannot drive a motorcycle and so they need one made by the War Devil that would move for itself.

Overwhelmed by the onslaught of weapons, Yoru and Denji hide in a random man’s house.

The swords fly but the wall and door prevent them from reaching the three people.

Now desperate and cornered, Yoru decides to use her “Ultimate Weapon 2” and she places her head on Denji.

However, Asa takes back control to warn Denji of Yoru’s plan to weaponize him.

Denji, on the other hand, seems fine with becoming a weapon as it will at least lighten his sins.

Asa rejects this but Yoru takes back control.

Yet she too hesitates to do the deed, now confirming that she has fully fallen in love with Denji as well.

Denji is lucky that two women who share the same body are in love with him.

The chapter ends as the Falling Devil throws back Yoru’s swords at her, with one sword hitting Asa’s head.

The title this time is quite fitting.

Yoru changes her mind about turning Denji into a weapon but in doing so, her physical mind is literally changed as one of her swords skewers it.

Considering that Asa was half-dead when Yoru possessed her, who among the two would die in this situation?

If Yoru dies, she will be restored in a different form somewhere else like the now-deceased Nayuta and only half of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse would be left.

And if Yoru dies, Asa dies as well.

But if Asa dies, what will happen to Yoru?

Chainsaw Man Chapter 209 will be released on July 23, 2025.
