Chainsaw Man the Movie: Reze Arc’s Newest Trailer Provokes Excitement Among Fans
The main trailer for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc was unveiled at Anime Expo 2025! Denji’s tragic love story with Reze heats up as we get yet another Kenshi Yonezu banger
During Anime Expo on July 3, 2025, during the MAPPA panel, we see the main trailer for the “Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc”
We see Denji about to enter a cafe while thinking about how Makima has his heart.
He would later meet a different girl, Reze, at a cafe and he tells Pochita that he is in love with two girls, which he imagines in a dream.
However, we would find that this girl is actually the Bomb Hybrid and they would engage into a sprawling, kaiju battle with Reze’s ally, the Typhoon Devil.
Kenshi Yonezu returns to provide the movie’s theme song, “Iris Out”, with the title referencing the film technique where a screen ends by shrinking a circular mask around a person or subject until the screen goes completely black.
“Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc” will be released in Japanese theaters on September 19, 2025, with international release dates starting from September 24 in Asia and October 29, 2025 for the rest of the world.
About Chainsaw Man
Chainsaw Man is the hit manga written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, who previous authored Fire Punch (2016-2018) and has done multiple one-shot manga throughout his career, including Look Back, which received a highly-acclaimed anime movie adaptation in June 2024.
Published in December 3, 2018, Chainsaw Man began serialization at Weekly Shonen Jump before moving to the Shonen Jump Plus app and website for Part 2 on July 13, 2022.
Chainsaw Man is a manga divided into two parts or sagas, Part 1 that was released from December 3, 2018 to December 14, 2020 while Part 2 began in July 13, 2022 and is still ongoing.
Chainsaw Man tells the story of Denji, an impoverished youth, who gains the powers of a devil and becomes Chainsaw Man, the target of many devils who seek his heart.
As of July 4, 2025, the manga has reached a total of 21 volumes and sold a total of 30 million copies.
